Do you feel you are getting your money's worth from pogo?

I have been a member of pogo for many years and have seen the price of the membership go up and up until it has got to where it is today. Now I know we all like pogo or we would not be members, but do you feel you are getting your money's worth from them? Oh yea, we get to earn badges but what are they good for? Sure we can spend our tokens on chances to win some money but with all the members Pogo has do you really think any of us has more than a snowball's chance in that hot place to win? And finally yes, we can buy all kinds of things for our mini's with our tokens, however all the really neat things have to be bought with gems which we have to pay cash for. If it were up to you, what would like to see pogo allow us to use our tokens for and why?

I totally know where your coming from. I love my club pogo membership and could never part with it, but I'd like more from my yearly membership then I am getting. I was thinking it would be nice if they included one or two downloaded games with your membership and/or on jackpot spins you actually get like gems or games to download...you see more then just tokens that are basically useless. But I love pogo.

Now that's an idea! Getting gems on our spins would be really nice. It would be worth the yearly membership is we could get something like that. I love my pogo too as I am a night person and it gives me something to do when everyone else is sleeping. Thanks for responding.

I agree with getting gems for jackpot spins or at least being able to buy gems with tokens. There should be some other way than giving them more $$ to get gems. I love the site, but I refuse to spend more $$ and get gems. As it is my husband and I both have our own membership so we can play each other. So, I have none of the badges that have to be bought with gems. I usually finish my weekly badges by Thursday, so then I have nothing but regular game badges to work on. I would like to be able to buy one of the special albums to have badges to work on in between.

I love pogo & have been a member since March 2001 & a club member since they pretty much have had it. I myself wish you could get more out of the yearly fees & like one other mentioned to win gems in spins. I have bought a few badge albums but cannot afford to keep buying them all the time. There are some mini items I would love to have but I refuse to buy gems for my mini, isn't that what our tokens are for? They need to give us some freebies with our paid membership besides tokens that are pretty much useless.

I have to agree with you about using our tokens for gems. It seems to me that we pay a high membership just for the priviledge of spending more money for the neat stuff for our mini's or badge albums. I think it should be that non-members should have to buy gems to get the things that we should be able to use our tokens for. The tokens are useless as you stated.

too weird, i'm considering not renewing my membership for pogo right now. i wish i could cash my tokens out for some gift cards or cash, but i've earned over 40 million and what do i have to show for me? i cute mini... and thats it. bizarre that i pay for this treatment! i've gotten the free wall papers that i'm sure everyone else has. but i just don't find the challenges that challenging any more. tends to be that i have them all three finished by weds afternoon and thats not a challenge. i've started playing on some other sites and am liking winster. it doesn't have as good of games, but i can' get stuff for it at least. i've won an amazon gift card and 4 dollars to inbox dollars.

I hear ya. I get so upset about how pogo takes my money but gives me nothing back but I still pay the membership. Grrrr. I just joined winster and I love it. I am working on a gift card myself right now. I was surprised at how fast your points add up there and everyone is so friendly. I will look you up next time I play. I like the slots best.

hello wrongway i hear ya about Club Pogo's website. but i love my membership with them thou. i would like to see Club Pogo let us member's use our tokens that we earn playing online games on their website, to trade in for Pogo Gear items. and also it would be nice to save so many tokens up to even get some free time on Club Pogo's website. and i have to say that i do spend lots of my tokens on my Club Pogo Mini, she has all kinds of things, from pets, to earrings, to all kinds of different backgrounds. and all that i have ever won from Club Pogo's website since that i have been a member there is either tokens, a screen saver or some wallpaper for my computer. my membership fee is due again in February. that is what that i got last year for my Valentine's Day present. take care and have a beautiful afternoon.

I have to agree with you about using the tokens for gems. You would think that us loyal members would get something cool like the people who buy the gems and use them for items for the minis. I also like the idea of using them for some free time. I joined another game site Called Winster that cost me $9.99 per month and we get to use our points for coupons on Amazon, movie tickets and other cool stuff. thanks for responding.

I do think it is totally worth it, even without ever having won anything from there. It is not that expensive for a yearly subscription. There are no limits on how much you can play and their are so many different games to choose from. Not only the number of games themselves but the games are very well designed and executed. You can spend hundreds of hours on the site and not even finish one game completely. So what if you have a very slim chance of winning anything? Not everything in life has to be about getting monetary things in return. I think club pogo needs to be enjoyed for what it is, a gaming site with a great community and many many different games to enjoy. Of course I have my issues with them. The badges in my opinion have been getting a little too easy, but they do have the ones that can take a very long time to complete. The tokens are also pretty much worthless but how excited do you get when you hit a certain benchmark? At least I know I do on occassion. Well I've made this long enough, lol. Happy Pogoing and MyLotting.
