I need help. I can't take it anymore. Every time it gets wet outside, my tennis shoes start squeaking. It lasts for months. What can I do to stop it? I've put baby powder on the bottoms, since it was wet that started the squeaking. Didn't work. I've tried mineral oil and vegetable oil too. Not much of a difference. Any ideas? Please?

Have you tried buying a waterproof shoe spray and spraying your trainers? Sometimes that helps.

Trainers? Is that the sole? (Sorry, I really don't know, I'm guessing) But since the squeak is already there, will it do any good? Or will it make the squeak permanent? (Not that it isn't already, drat it)

I had a pair of shoes that squeaked, finally had to just replace them, and it didn't matter if it were wet or dry, they just squeaked! I hope some of the others came up with a solution for ya!
