i sure don't think a 17 year old girl should be moving out on her own. how is she going to support herself. surely u are going to help her??? my sons were 20 when they left home & i wasn't sure they were ready. lol they made it.

i have tried helping her. But i cant convice her. Maybe she needs to do this? You make mistakes to learn from them, maybe this is one she needs to make

Everybody is different. We all do things at different times in our lives. I think that the important thing is that we need to be ready to do something. Moving out is one of those things. We all need to be ready to move out, whether it's at 17 or 25. Otherwise, I think someone might face a lot of difficulty, if this person isn't ready to move out.

I think that you will know when you are ready to move out and if your friend really thinks that she's ready to move out then I guess she thinks she is. Of course some people don't think things all the way through and they act before they fully think their course of action out so I would try and give her some advice on her decision. I'm not sure you should just tell her that you don't think that she is financially stable for moving out yet. My plan for moving out is to move in with a couple friends so that way I will have somebody to help me out if we have financial problems. That's all the advice that I can really think of.
