Today I feel really sad. I had stomach problems this whole january. Throwed up a lot and last night it was like if I had a carrousel in my stomach. To be able to sleep I took a sleeping pill at midnight and woke up today to work a bit late, it was about 6:05 am. I couldn´t walk straight ahead but even though I had to get ready and take two buses to come to work. Getting to work I drank a redbull and lots of coffee to see if I could feel awake. It has been more than a month I am feeling like this since I got into this job. But 2008 was a night mare for me. My stomach problems have been getting worse and worse. Since I got back to Brazil and had to start to work normally I am in hell. I am a night person and now have to wake up very early. Which means I sleep about 3 to 5 hours every night and need to work full time during the day. This is making my stomach even worse. Stress is tremendous and I have no clue what to do. Sorry if I am only complaining here right now. But it´s because mylot seems to be the place to talk about these kind of subjects. I don´t know it´s strange. But people here seem to be more human than in other places. I am not really here to ask for help or ask questions to you. I just wanted to write this down somewhere. Cause I feel like exploding.

I'm so sorry to hear this. Stress is one of the major causes of a body's immune system weakening, so I hope you can try to relax a little more, try to eat well (fruits and veggies would help) and please try to sleep better. Your body will eventually make the adjustment to getting up earlier, but until it does, you'll need to help yourself by finding something relaxing to relieve some stress. Don't lose hope!

I already tried so many times to adjust my body to sleeping earlier and getting up earlier and was never able to do it. Even with sleeping pills passed by doctors. My organism is too strong so they take very long to work making me sleep late and I pass the day feeling tired by their effect. :-(

Hello friend deb. It's good to see you here in mylot. With regards to your situation, I think you really need to go to the doctor for a stomach check-up. Sometimes, it's because of stress. And I think, you should not take in anything like sleeping pills and red bull without the doctor's advise. It's a very difficult situation if you have stomach problems. I have been through that. I hope you go to the doctor and I wish you get well very soon...

I am very sorry to hear that. I sure hope you get to feeling better soon. I am sorry that you have to deal with the work situation also. I would see a doctor and see if there is something that can be done for you if you can.

I had a job once, that kept my stomach in knots, and the inability to sleep at night. It was a very stressful time for me. Sometimes, I would take something to help me sleep, even when it was close to the time I needed to get up, just to get a little sleep. The day I was laid off, I could feel the stress leave me instantly. I now have another kind of stress, the lack of money, but I am able to sleep at night.

I think you should go to a doctor about this! Maybe they could give you something to calm you down. There could be something wrong with you, or it could just simply be the stress affecting you in this way. Whichever it turns out to be, I am sure you'd feel better if you took a trip to the doctors so they could tell you what's the matter for sure :)

Hey Deborahkat, I just learned about a new kind of vitamin that will surely help you to not feel sluggish and tired during the day. I have been taking them myself for the past two days and so far they seem to be working pretty good. I won't know for sure if it's had a real definite affect on my body for at least 28 more days but if you'd like to hear more about them please put me on your friend list and pm me about it okay? I will be keeping you lifted up in prayer in the meantime. BTW I think that Mother Nature had given me the sleepy gene early in the morning time too..... but than God that he gave man the knowledge to come up with something like a vitamin that can help those of us that aren't naturally morning people to be victorious too..... I'm not just saying this but so far, since I've been taking these vitamins I've never felt better......Let me know if you're interested..Take care......

Very sad today! Hello friend, I'm sorry to hear that you are feeling so bad, I was feeling very bad too with stomach problems for the past few days, that is what made me respond to your post. Well I don't know if You will ever read this since you weren't really expecting for anyone to respond but I have to admit that I feel better today. My stomach has stopped bothering me. It does sound as if it might be stress related what you are going through. Not that there is a whole lot that a doctor could do to help you eliminate stress but I"m not for sure that is what it is. So you should go and see a a doctor to try to find out for sure. If your job make you feel that bad, you might even want to think about leaving it for good and try to find something else. There are a lot of things that could be going on with your stomach and the only way that you will find out for sure would be to go and see a doctor. I wonder if you have a regular diet, you didn't mention anything about that but I don't think that a a redbull and coffee is a very good diet either. So definitely you should cut back on the coffee. My best advice is take a few days off from work if you can and if things don't get better soon, you should go on and schedule yourself for a doctor's appointment. Good luck and wishing you all the best. Your health is nothing to play around with. God bless you.
