Heart Physical!

A busy day today for my dad and I as well. He had his bi-yearly heart check up today. The day started with his bath aide arriving at 8 a.m. waking us all up. Then he had his appointment at 11 a.m. His heart rate is normal. His blood pressure was slightly elevated. His cholesterol was normal helped with his meds. The stress test was all right as well. His breathing is labored but this is due to his lack of physical activity so it is actually all right according to the Dr. Over all the Dr. said he is doing great this time around. No medication changes or additions required either. Whew! Another 6 months we do it all over once again. That's it for me today. Have a great day/evening all.

Hi GRANDPA BOB,
I am so pleased that your dad is ok after the check up by the doctor today, but you need your rest as well so take it easy tomorrow, I guess you dad is well contented and happy, I like that and he is a great man. Take care.

I've got a bad cold so I rested all day yesterday

My wife gets up aty 7 each day and she lets Buster outside.
Now he howls at anything and everything.
So I get woke up from that daily.
But not a door knock at 8 a.m.

I'm very glad to hear your dad is doing so well! Can he walk around? Maybe when spring comes you can get him out of the house and moving around more.

Its good to hear that your dad's check up went well today. Sounds like it was a busy day for all of you, I bet your dad was wore out when he got home today, I hope he gets some good rest this evening, I hope you do too Grandpa Bob...Have a good evening..

Dad was very tired.
This is the most physical exertion he gets actually.

Just going to the dr. could have elevated his pressure a bit. It's outside most peoples comfort zone. Sounds good overall. Glad things went well.

Hi Grandpa Bob, I'm glad all your Dad's tests worked out so well today. I, too have good news on the medical front. I finally found a pain management group that was willing to take me as a patient. They did a thorough exam and ordered MRIs so they can see just exactly where the problem lies. The good thing is the doctors here treat pain seriously. When I told this doctor some of the treatments I had been through and the things that had been said to me they were appalled.

Glad to hear that everything went well with the Doctors appointment. I am sure that is a Big sigh of relief there as well. You know there are many of us here who are Praying and wishing the best for you and your Dad everyday as well.
