make it so? A new bed? A new paint job? If so what colors would you pick? Imagination doesn't cost, so what is your dream bedroom like? Our master bedroom doesn't have a bathroom. That would definitely be on my wish list.

Oh a larger bedroom(s) would be the first thing and then an attached bathroom would be nice too. I'd like different curtains or when my room magically gets bigger something like a nice big bow window with a bench under the window to sit and day dream or work on craft projects.

I like those window benches too. Can I add that to my list?

Sure as long as you give me credit for it ;) Oh and a nice view out that window too would be nice. Right now I have my choices between the neighbors driveway or my back yard & of course the bigger window is facing the drive way...GRRRR.

I don't really spend much time in my bedroom when I am awake, so I don't really notice much. I would like a bathroom in my bedroom, but the closest bathroom is only a few feet from my bedroom so that would be silly. I have thought about a television in my room, but my daughter sleeps in my room so she would never sleep if I had one of those in there.

I'd still get the tv. I had one with head phones once. Do you think that might work?

We had a television in the room once and my little sister always wanted to watch it till she fell asleep and that would sometimes have her up later then we would like so we took the television out of the room and now we don't have that problem. But not all kids are the same and I just would give in to a wheedle of "Please only a few more minutes." I know it was my fault and that is how I solved it.

We live in a trailer so our Master bedroom has a door connecting it to the bathroom. I have a queen size bed, leopard bedspread with a leopard and tiger pillows with a leopard wall hanging and I have 4 plates on a rack on my wall one with a leopard, lion, orange tiger, white tiger. and a large white tiger head. I have end tables 2 dressers and a wardrobe 2 closets and multiple large white tiger and a orange tiger pictures. I also have a huge almost life size tiger with it's mate and little tigers I have a set of white ones and a orange set and alternate sometimes. I have 1 melon orange wall(not my color choosing) and the other 3 are light paneling. I have Hunter green marble tiled floors. For me it is very relaxing and the only thing I would change is that melon orange wall. I would change it to look like a jungle I know sounds crazy but that is what I have always wanted to do is paint a mural of a jungle on there. Besides that I have what I want..for now.

I think my bedroom is relaxing. It could be alot better but it would take alot of money. I would love to have a full bedroom makeover for the walls and bedlinens.

A bedroom should, ideally, be about sleeping. People tend to put TVs in there or books or whatever else they can think of. It is best, however, psychologically speaking for there to be nothing to be done in the bedroom except sleep if you can arrange this. This can be helpful for people who are having a tough time sleeping. Some people also benefit from heavy drapes to keep things especially dark.

i had my personal interior designer, my girlfriend that is, to create the relaxing mood in my bedroom. she chose the main wall dark chocolate in colour and the 3 other walls in pecan nut. lightings are important too as well to create this relax mood in the bedroom. just to add, the bedspreads are always the same colour as the picture she hung on the main wall. you can choose any colour you want for this as long it's the same. since the walls are brown, the wood tiles suits the room best. so basically the room has 2 to 3 colours only.
