If a person were to murder another person and it was not in self defense, do you think that the murderer deserves the Death Penalty? There are different laws for the different states that pertain to the Death Penalty. Some states have abolished this law while others still have it on the books. The sates that still use the Death Penalty also have different factors involved in the judgement, such as, one or two counts of murder, 1st degree murder, pre-meditated murder... You may want to learn more at deathpenaltyinfo.org. It is amazing how different the laws are by sate. What do you think about the death penalty, should we still use it for those convicted of murder? Do you think life without parole is sufficient?
