Ok, I am seeing alot of comments on Obama, so its my turn. I love the fact that everyone finally opened up and realized that it is ok for blacks to be president. Unfortunately I do see him being the black JFK. I hate saying it but I do honestly think that. I hope that I am wrong, but I have talked to many ppl who have agreed, what do all of you think about that?

I think it is not the color of the skin that makes a good President. I like the fact that Pres. Obama is very well educated, smart and level-headed. He is not JFK, of course, but I think even Obama himself wants to draw comparisons to himself and JFK and also Abraham Lincoln. I think he is referring to the qualities and values that these men had. Obama has a lot of charisma and so did JFK. Lincoln was a friend to all and freed the slaves. I think Obama, being both of black and white heritage, is trying to bridge the gap between the two sides and bring together everyone in harmony. I hope he succeeds. I will judge him only on the basis of whether or not I feel he is making the right decisions for the Country, not the color of his skin.

I so didnt mean that I was judging him by his color. I am strictly not, but so many ppl still have a hard time realizing that a black is just as able as white, hispanic or asian. Trust me i am not judging. And by saying I think that he is going to wind up being just like the JFK case is because alot of americans are so very happy with him being president it almost seems too good to be true!

I hope he isn't the black JFK, I would hate to see him cheat on Michelle and the kids with some movie star are all the other times like JFK did. I was never a fan of JFK since I am not easily fooled by rectoric or smooth talkers. About the closest thing too doing something good that JFK did was the Moon landing program and he did that the wrong way. Obama has aleady gotten off to a bad start by making too many appointments from the Clinton administration and bowing to foreign propaganda on terrorism.

Yes he's the black JFK. And I know what you mean by that statement. Its very possible. Whenever something unites so many americans, and people around the world, our enemies will try to break that unity, to weaken us. JFK was a president that many liked, and he united us in a way that others before him had failed to do. This put him on the radar as a target by Cuba mainly, but also others. I think Obama might actually be a bigger deal then JFK even. The Obamamania is getting crazy.
