.ipt ???

What is the file extention .ipt stand for? What is the program associated with it? It's for some name badges template we have here at work. We have the templates....but they're all the .ipt extention. And there's no software on our computers that will accept that extention. Can someone please help me out?! Thanx!

ipt means Inventor Part File Description:Part or object created with Autodesk Inventor,a program for designing three-dimensional prototypes; consists of a single 3D object that can be combined with other parts in a 3D assembly (.IAM) file. Program(s) that open ipt files: Autodesk Inventor SpaceClaim Professional 2007+

Hey ya'll thanks for helping me. However, the file extention was not .ipt, but rather .ipd...ha. But i still had a heck of a time trying to figure out that one too! But i got it and got my name badges all done! Yey! Thanks Anyway.

I think .ipd file is created when u take a back up og your blackberry on your computer.

I've never seen the extension .ipt before. I tried to do a little research on it, but didn't really find anything other than something about 3d graphics. I think it is the 3d format of a jpg or gif image. Not sure though.
