Short or long socks?

Here in the northeast it's the cold winter time. Some people are fortunate enough to live somewhere where it is warm in the winter. If you live somewhere cold do you like to wear short or long socks in the winter? I need to wear long socks or else the chill just goes right up my legs. My kids however, are perfectly fine wearing short socks. How about you?

I own both types. I like both as well. I just go with whatever is clean at the time. My laundry always seems to be backed up for some reason.

I am one of the fortunate ones living where it is mostly warm in the winter. I have family I like to visit in the northeast and I get excited because I get to wear my handful of knee socks on my visits. I'm sure if I lived there I would wear knee socks all winter.

I wear long socks in the winter. I hate long socks though. I prefer even short socks or no socks. I am a sandals kind of girl.I love sandals. I go through those more than regular shoes.

It depends on the weather but most times than not, I am Perfectly fine with wearing short socks

i hardly ever wear socks. when i drag out the socks u know it's cold. most of my socks are just normal socks no knee socks.

I like to wear longer socks in the winter, but I don't have that many pairs of them so most days I am stuck wearing shorter socks. Yes, I also think it is very much colder to wear short socks because like you said you can feel the cold air go right up your legs! BRRRR!
