According to the news that there are lots of scarcities now, these are the scarcities; nurses, doctors and other skilled workers, though its an embarrassing factual information that the following mention above are now on other countries for greener Pasteur,I would like to ask the whole people around the net that why are we now facing too much crisis, salary are very low, though I know there are also countries and maybe all countries are suffering economic crisis, but why we filipinos are dreaming to go to abroad? I know most of the answers is to have enough income, but how can we help this? Do we have courage to fight for it? hahay.....

They were right when they said that filipinos go abroad to earn money. I think that the current situation that is happening right now our country wont be able to match what other countries are offering for our professionals services. unemploymentis again up, a lot of people getting fired. Our country right now is not capable of offering that same kind of salary other countries have. Our coubtry is actually dependent on the remittance that OFWs are sending home.

Most of us are dreaming to go abroad basically because of the higher salaries offered there compared here in our own country. With this, we are facing labor scarcities. Our skilled workers prefer to have their jobs abroad rather than working here. Filipinos are productive and thats one of the reasons why other contries like us to employ with them. Instead of using our own labor force here in our country, foreign countries are more likely benefited with it. Still, there's bright side of it in our economy because of the remitances we are receiving from OFW's. and its already a big help for us.

Courage, we always have it, Filipinos really have a lot of it. The thing why a lot of Filipinos are going abroad is because of the opportunity that the country cannot offer. Its also considerable that we Filipinos are skilled that's why other countries are hiring OFW's. In these regards, if other countries will not like the performance of the OFW's they will not hire them and as an effect, there will be few of them. If you will ask me why the country is not improving, my answers are, lack of unity, our "crab mentality", corruption and most the most negative is BLAMING others for the things they did wrong. The best way to fight the scarcity and economic crisis is to start blaming ourselves and do something about it before pointing fingers for the things you've started.

ANALYN, going abroad is the easiest way to escape poverty in the philippines. It's not going to be that easy though, but ask your aunties and other filipinos who have gone to far places, they would answer you "we want to have more earning". Most filipinos ,when asked if they want to leave philippines answers 'ofcourse'.I mean 'crisis' is just the one of the most popular reasons to scape philippines. In my own opinion, if people really wants to have high earning why don't they start in 'nothing'? The owner of most of the successful bussinessess in the philippines starts with just a coin. Philippines is not poor! It's rich in fact, if only would people know how to manage....Other countries continious to go up because they starts in the foot of the mountain, in other words they are "metikuloso". They study every inch of their decisions so even if they feel crisis they still up there while philippines are just staring. If only filipinos could be that "mapagbigey" when it comes to the good of 'community', we could also go up if we want too. It's just that we are used in shortcuts...

Im not saying this because im not in the other side but I think going to abroad is a dream for many filipinos not only filipinos but other people as well from another country. Its true that the salaries we gain here in the Philippines is very low but consider the fact that the living expenses in our contry is low compared to other countries. Even foreigners begin to leave here because of the low living expenses. People work to other countries because they have a dream and leaving the country is a part of it. But consider the remitances that they were giving to our country, it's a big help. I dont have any message on how to solve it. But I think our government should do domething about this as well as cooperation of our fellow men. Well, I wonder I realise something, Philippines does not change. I hope it will change one's there would be the perfect president.
