Hi there lovesummer, I like to listen to music too when i about to sleep, but i rather choose "easy listenning", instrumental or meditating musics like Enya, George Groban kinda like that. I just can't sleep when the music is trash metal or Rocks. i rather tune it in the morning. It will waken you LOL Happy posting always , dear oxo'dian from bali island.

Yes...:D Especially when I fall asleep while doing my paper works. I listen to songs while I'm writing and I doze of with the headphone still in my head...:D

I'm one of these people who needs a constant noise around them all the time, including when I sleep. No, my partner's snoring doesn't count because it isn't constant or even. Music is the best because I control it. If I could control the rain, then that would be the best. Trying to sleep when it is too quiet is nearly impossible for me, and I have noticed, that all my kids, especially as babies, slept better with noise around them, either a loudly ticking clock, music or the tv on. Oddly enough, they have all slept soundly when the lawnmower or vacum cleaner are being used.

Yes, I fall asleep easiest to the tv, but even with music on, if I am tired and lay down, I can fall asleep. As a teenager I had a small stereo in my room and I would turn it on and put the volume on low so that my parents couldnt here it, and I would fall asleep that way... now if I am tired and the music is great dance music I can fall asleep, but if I am just a little sleepy dance music will wake me up...LOL

Sometime I use music in order to make me relax before I sleep. But, if I feel it's enough I will turn it off. I think sleep is the best rest, and to make our body fresh is let our eyes and ears stop working for a while. I can sleep well in the silence and darkness. :D

I too asleep mostly when music is on and music is of my liking. thts the reason i listen to songs at night before going to the bed. im very much like to listen some romantic or old movie songs especially from bollywood cinemas. Now a days, songs are not coming which is as par with oldies, tht time music is really good.

It depends how i am. If I am too tired, then I can sleep even the music very loud. Otherwise, I could not fall asleep that easily. Most of the tim I only listen to music if I could not sleep so, there is no way I can fall asleep with my music on.

I can't really sleep well with the music on. I prefer to have peace and quiet and a nice dark room.

Depending on what kind of music. Loud music with heavy bass beat is out of the question. But soft and slow music is okay for me especially if it's instrumental.

I like listening to music when I fall asleep. It seems to make me very relaxed. Mostly instrumental music although if I am with a girl or woman then I just want to put on something sexy and really get into the moves. Crocket.

Yeah i think so. It happens all the time. It really doesn't bother me at all because i can still fall asleep eventhough i'm listening to metal music. I would even stay away if i'm listening to mellow songs because that's the time where my mind is out to think about past and future relationships hehe..

I used to stuff ear plugs / ear phones with music on every night when I slept for quite a period of time. I'm still able to Zzzz with music on, not really a problem for me.

hello lovesummer nope, it would take me a long time to be able to fall asleep with the radio on, or a music cd, or a music playlist for that matter. i like it real quiet when that i am trying to sleep or even take a nap. i do not care for any kind of a background noise when that i am trying to go to sleep. lol isn't that weird how listening to music when trying to sleep effects everybody differently? lol take care and have a beautiful evening.
