Which HGTV designer is your favorite and why?

I have two favorites, Cadice Olson with Divine Design and Vern Yip with Deserving Design. Candice's designs are breath-taking, always cultured, whether the desings are comtemporary-modern or classic-traditional. I've noticed that she uses dark woods mostly, and her color choices are often golden tan's to grey-blue's.
Vern Yip adds the emotional to his designs, and his designs are always clean and usually affordable for the average person.
Which HGTV designer is your favorite and why?

I should let my wife answer this because she watches all the time. I just can't quite get into it!

Good for her. What I like about these HGTV shows is the lack of suspense. I can observe the shows while doing something else, and the shows never send me running out of the room to avoid seeing suspense, ugly scenes, or violence. I guess it is a show type that appeals to women, because my husband doesn't like to watch the channel at all either.

It is funny, Jellen, because I can watch Clean House on Style network or Cash in the Attic on BBC America, but HGTV is beyond me.
