Climate changes make me nuts! Have you experienced any big differences?

I planned my vacation to California when I thought the weather here in Boston was going to be at it's worst! Usually we get all the snow and freezing cold in Feb. so I decided to visit my daughter in Long Beach for 2 weeks starting Feb. 6. Guess what? This month...January...has been the coldest and snowiest we have ever experienced. I can't imagine it being any worse next month and I'm kicking myself for not going this month.... Are you experiencing any difference in weather in your area? Do you think it has to do with the climate changes?

I'm in Ohio and this has been one of the worst January's I remember in a long time. Like you said, it's usually in February, and I'm not looking forward to it. One thing I noticed over the last ten years or so, is that Spring almost doesn't even exist anymore. It seems to go from cold to warm/hot overnight. Then we get rain most of the summer and before you know it, it's Winter. Really weird, and yes, I do think it has to do with climate changes all over the world. Kinda freaky if you ask me.

I've come to believe that Spring no longer exists! We go from winter to summer in a days time! Yes very freaky if you ask me!

Ahha, you go through the same thing I do with the Winter, few days in between, Summer. No Spring. What happened to it? I use to look forward Spring every year because I knew Summer was on its way. Now our Summers seem to be so short you barely have time to put the snow shovel away. Same seems to be happening with Fall too. Pretty soon it'll only be Winter and Summer, that's it. Scary thought.

In Winnipeg the very cold weather started to come before winter. I went to twenty below before December the 21st and except for a few short 'warm' spells near zero, it has been the same ever since. Right now it is -20 F and it says that it will warm up to 2 F, but well with the wind chill it will feel more like -20. My husband does not drive, my friend who took my driving is visiting out of the city, and so I have to walk to get groceries sometime this week. It has to do with the climate getting cold, because of no sun spots. We are now in a period (have been since 1998) of global cooling. Nothing to do with man, although I think they aggravated the problem with this global warming scare and not letting warm air go int the atmosphere.

We are getting our 1st big snowfall of the season starting tonight. I am pretty certain my daughter won't have school tomorrow. Today it is 15 degrees. 3 days ago it was 58. Yes it drives me a little nuts. My daughter has asthma, and the changes make it difficult. I would just concentrate on visiting your daughter, and having a nice time.
