In just about even state in the U.S. gold has been found.You have seen the magazine or the tv shows like cash and treasure. I live in Tennessee and they are known gold locations in the east part of the state.Have you tried prospecting? It is a great hobby. Here in tennessee the gold is fine but, in the west it is a lot bigger.The size of the gold determine the best way to prospect for it. If the gold is large metal detector are very usfully but,for small gold a gold pan or sluice box is used.Here in tennessee i have not found any gold but on a trip to colorado in found some. The best thing about prospecting is the people you met. Where are the gold sites in your state or country? Have you tried prospecting?

Hi, I live in Alabama.I don't know if there are any prospecting sites here or not. I have never heard of any. I would like to visit some sites and see gold being found. Have a good night

I'm in Tennessee and wasn't aware or remember ed that we have gold. I know the geodes there are gems stones in them and I'd love to have some more like the ones I gave away as people liked them. We just don't have any places to get them as mostly they are on private land. If someone would allow digging that would be great.

I have never thought about doing this, maybe it would be a fun thing to do. I would not even know where to start either. I thought it would cost a lot to make money with it. Like wouldnt I have to invest into some kinda of equipment? I live in Ohio is there any gold around here? I would never have know myself. Let me know if there are any places in Ohio known for having gold? Thanks and happy mylotting to you as well.

Hi, Ohio has a GPAA "Gold prospector association of america". They are a good group to get information from about your lacation. I check for you and the web site is http:/www.ohiooutdoorsman.com/Gold.html I hope i typed that in right.That is a pay association but, they sometimes have free outing. You will be surprized how many people prospect and for a lot of us the best part is metting people. If and when you get into it big time there are so costly tool you can buy but, for a new person all you need is a gold pan and time. I take my grand son's out all the time rock collecting and prospecting and the main thing is having a good time not finding something. hope the site help you.
