This is the dreadded weekend for football fans. No games! But this year I was too busy to miss it because I saw The X Games, The NHL All Star Game, and The National Figure Skating Championships. In fact , most of the weekend I was watching two shows at once. What did you see instead of Football?

I remember you are quite interested in the sports:) Since there should be ESPN in your side, I don't think you will ever feel bored because of just no football match:) Lately it's also the Tennis match in Australia, perhaps you will be interested in it, too. Football is not so popular in my country, whereas soccer is much more popular. I love China

I am not into tennis. I don't see the point. Is regular tennis as popular as table tennis in China?

I think the badminton is the most popular in China. Ping Pong is also very popular. And these two sports are very common to most people, including children.

sounds like you had it covered. I actually went to a hockey game.....my little granddaughter who is three is following in her daddys footsteps and is playing hockey.....or at least learning how! LOL...they skated between the high school hockey match...they put her in goalie position and she stood so proud with her stick on the ground and watched as it went right by her! LOL...other then that I was going to try to catch the National Figure skating champoinships....but missed them!

As I pushed send, I thought I should have written American Football! All I can say is American Football is just as big here in The States as Futbol is around the world. And The Super Bowl is the last game of the season. But there is a week between The Super Bowl and the last playoff game. That was this past weekend. It could be a Long, long weekend for some but it was great for me.
