I love this book named gone with the wind.It is exciting. The book talk about the love stroy hanppened in the Civil War U.S.As far as I concerned the story is romantic.Scarlett O'hara is a brave lady.Though the war,she became as rigid as adamant.Athough she and Rhett Butler'love is twist. You will find how complicated life is only after you experienced it. I like the movie too.I remember when I was in junior hight school,I found it would put on TV at 12:00.I put my clock under my pillow and I was got up on time to watch it.And went to school on time next day.It is amazing! I like gone with the wind very much.Do you agree with me ? God bless you and happy mylotting!:)

I love it too. I love "Tomorrow is another day", this sentence tells a lot about Scarlett O'hara, she's really very positive about life. Beside the love story between she and Rhett Butler, I think the love for the land/house is very strongly reflected. Sometimes when I have a difficult day at work, I yearn for the comfort of home, for my room, for my bed. I can understand how Scarlett feels about her home.

Whenever the lottery results out, and the winner is not me. Then I will tell myself "Tomorrow is another day." One day I will strike big, really big.

I haven't read this novel yet, but I know it's quite a famous book. The movie is nice and the soundtrack is also great. Although this movie was filmed long time ago, but it's still one of the most classical movies. I love China

Gone with the wind was a great book and a very well done movie. I also enjoyed the sequel Scarlett as well as the prequel Rhetts People...both were written with permission of Margaret Mitchell the original author. I never really liked Scarlett in the movie...She really took Rhett for granted and didnt appreciate him preferring instead a wimp like Ashely Wilkes. I think she got what she deserved in the end of Gone with the wind.

Of course! Gone With the Wind is one of the best films ever made. This is my favorite film of all time and even though it is 4 hours long, I love watching it over and over and over again. Scarlett O'Hara is my heroine. For me, she epitomizes a very strong woman who does not give up easily despite the hardships in life. She may be cunning at times but her end justifies her means. The book was written in 1933 but the movie was shown in 1939. But, despite the fact that it was produced in 1939, the movie showed great cinematography and the effects were simply marvelous. Another trivia: do you know that the movie took so long because they could not find the right actress to play Scarlett O' Hara. Fortunately, Vivien Leigh was perfect for the role, like Clark Gable is the perfect Rhett Butler. I love the book and the film so much that I also read the sequel of the book: Scarlett - Gone with the Wind Part 2. You should also read that. Though I feel that Margarett Mitchell, the author of the first Gone With the Wind book, would have done better than Alexandra Ripley, the one who wrote GWTW part 2. There were some inconsistencies with the second book and there were some loopholes in the story. All in all, the sequel did not do justice to the first book.

wow! I can really tell how you like the movie..I have also watched the movie too when I was in college. We are having our film showing in our english class although I really don't understand and appreciate better because I was late and nervous my teacher might scold me for being late. I may try to watch it again though.
