Which columns are your favorites when reading a newspaper?

I'm not a subscriber of news but every now and again I like reading the newspaper. When I get the newspaper, it is usually the local newspaper. I like reading about what is happening in my community since it will effect the people around me. Lately, I've noticed that the national news is effecting our community and the political stuff is all over the front of the newspaper in my town.

FOr me I only read newspapers online. I will read the headlines and that is about it. Local news and maybe obituaries as well, usually because in my small town you may know the person of a family member. I like to look at community events to see what is going on in the community I may like to go to. I don't like to read the government stuff or anything. War stuff around the world I don't bother with either.

yup i have subscribed to two newspapers. one regional and one national. Plus i can do read news on internet. Editorial is the section which is must read for me. After that I read economic section, sports, international news section.

I subscribe to a local newspaper. My favorite section is called the Guide, it is all local happens and articles about local events, places, people, etc. I used to subscribed to the New York Times Sunday edition and my favorite section was the Book Review.

I always read the headline story first...after that, I will read for the beginning news about 2 - 3 pages then if I am satisfied, I'll proceed to the lifestyle section and cartoons. I read lifestyle section because I want to be updated on the latest trends as for the cartoons, I love their comic strip and the tricks they are presenting.

I seldom read newspaper. but I like to read local news about culture and something new

the most important news item of all is appearing on the front page. then, when in the front page, it will always be the headlines that i get to read first of all. the headlines will have to be an important issue at the national level. it can only switch to an international news if such occurrence in history will greatly affect the country. i do not subscribe to any newspaper at all. after all, it is so easy to take hold of one anytime that i want to. after having read all the items on the front page, i visit next the comics section. then everything else can happen randomly.
