Do you usually think about your children first thing in the morning. Or do you do other duties first and then accommodate the child's needs?

I know it is sappy but I do think of my daughter first. Of course during the week, I get up to make sure she gets off to school, so of course I am thinking of her. I tend to think of her first in general. Like when it is near dinner time, even if I am not hungry, I deal with dinner because she needs to eat. As far as the morning goes, I need to be awake for a good hour before I really start thinking about what I have to do.

this daughter of yours is so lucky that she has you for a mother, sunnypub. you are so loving and caring for her. many mothers will claim that they are very much like you, that's for sure. yet, i know that there are only so few who really do in all honesty. i know this for a fact having had days spent with some friends and their kids in early mornings.

First thing is get the kids up and get them ready for school. Since they are older, they get dressed and do all that kind of stuff for themselves. But, they still need a wake up call even though they both have alarms. They just don't use them. lol

At this point in life my children all have four feet and they do not let any thing come between me and their needs. They come first, even in the middle of the night

I try to let my son sleep as much as he can. So i go about getting ready while he is enjoying his last bit of sleep. Then i wake him to get him ready so i can get him to daycare. On the weekends i allow him to sleep untill he wakes on his own. I hate waking him up.

my childred come first before anything else... I have my baby daughter in my room with me and hubby... and my son has his own room, soon they will share a room. Well my son is in school --so I get up, make a bottle for my daughter, use the bathroom, then turn on the news, and by then the baby wakes up, and while I am feeding her my son usually wakes up and comes out to the living room. LOL --that is pretty much schedule.

usually, i am up in the morning well ahead of my children. so, the answer to your question, bamakelly, is obviously that i attend to other duties first before i get to accommodate the children's needs for my personal attention. when i wake up in the morning, it will be saying my morning prayers first. then, this shall be followed by some stretching exercises. next will be to the bathroom. after that, i will be preparing breakfast then clean the kitchen if the children are not up yet after the morning meals have been prepared. now, i am ready to set up the table for breakfast. the next thing to do while waiting for them to have breakfast with me, i heat some water for bathing. my kids are used to bathing in warm water in the mornings.
