So what drives you to do what you do online?

I have gone through a lot of discussions, especially in the make extra money category and I am amazed at the huge number of people who are using the GPT sites (GPC e.t.c). I am wondering what it is that could possibly be driving you guys to the GPT sites. These sites in my opinion are a waste of time given the very low income amounts that they typically generate.
Furthermore I wonder why anyone would go for GPT sites while with a little more determination and focus, you can learn and manage some better paying online ventures like freelance publishing, affiliate marketing, running your own websites and blogs and earning money from them and so on. And all these can be done for FREE or very little capital (less than $50), so cost of start-up is actually not a viable excuse for wasting time with GPT sites. I feel there maybe something that you guys have seen that I maybe me missing, that's why am asking you guys what exactly is driving you to do what you do online on a day to day basis?

I do this cause I'm bored. I have many question that I wanted to get answer. I only do this mostly of weekdays, because I dont have anywhere else to go. This site is easy to access while others are just pointless. Online is what the future holds. Everything you want can be done online nowadays. So thats why I'm on theres many thing I need to get done online.

For somebody who has a full time job and who does this out of boredom and on weekends, I can understand. What I can't understand are the people who join GPT sites for the money! Nobody can genuinely survive on the few cents that they pay out, not to mention the time spent working the sites just so that you can accumulate a dollar!
True as you have said, online is the future but I believe people should put in some little effort and be better prepared for the future if it ain't already upon us!

The reason that I use the sites that I use to make money is because I don't have the time required to do the others. I would like to bring in something even if it is small, I just don't have the time to build my own blog, website or other marketing opportunities. I guess that there are a lot of other people that do it for the same reasons as I do.

I do what I do online cause I get bored doing nothing around the house...LOL..any money I make is money I didnt have beforehand so it works for me LOL

There are a couple of reasons that I do what I do online. I do it because I'm bored and it's something to do also it's hard to find a job when you're only seventeen years old and you're looking for a full time job. I also do this to try and get some money into my savings account and get enough to save up enough money to get my own house to live in.
