27 year old Nicole Vanzant Penix went missing monday January 19th, 2009 in Frenchburg Kentucky. She was last seen at the dollar store having an argument with an ex boyfriend. When she was reporte missing, the authorities asked her ex boyfriend what happened, he said he dropped her off on the top of Frenchburg Hill. That was the very last time she was seen or heard by. She has a 4 year old son at home, and her family says she would not dissapear with out calling or saying where she was going. The cops told them she is not required to call home or come home she is not under 18 years old so they act like nothing is wrong is what I have heard. The guy who she was seen with last was supposedly at walmart the other night looking at cds like he had no care in the world, or acted like nothing was wrong is something I also heard. The news stated there was a tip called in that she was beaten and threw over Donathon Rock which is probably over a 200 foot drop, they found nothing, but that is all they have searched. The family has called in a search team but they are not allowed to search until the frenchburg sherrifs department give the go ahead. She has been missgin for a week now and no go ahead has been given. The family only want her safe return and the longer the police wait the less time she may not have. Which it is possible she could be somewhere and not what to be found, but like her family said this is not like her. It would be very wonderful if everyone could try and help this family out. You might be able to call the Lexington News Station here in Kentucky to get the families information so you can call them to see what you can do to help. That is if you want to. I wish I new there information or I would tell you. But like I said pleas help his family and her son find his mother and bring her home safe.
