Let's Reminisce. For some of us it hasn't been that long since we were teens and for some of us it's been quite a while. So when you were a teenager what were the books or book series that you enjoyed the most? As a teenager, my favorite books were the Babysitters Club books. I started reading them when I was younger and continued to do so when I was a teen. I also read the Sweet Valley High books and the Nancy Drew & Hardy Boys Super Mysteries. I also read the American Girl books. They really started to become popular when I was in fifth grade, so I wasn't a teenager then, but I did continue to read them when I was a teen. I liked the historical nature of them.

Yeah! I started reading when I was 9 years old and it was sweet valley twins. Then i read sweet valley high. It was my favorite teen book. Then after sweet valley phased out, i read nancy drew and hardy boys which I borrowed from our school library. Then when I was 16 I started reading babysitters club. I still have my collections of sweet valley and baby sitters books.

All those are great books/series. I remember those sweet valley twin books, but I didn't read many cause I was older when I found them. I wish I still had copies of the old Sweet Valley High and Babysitters Club books. It'd be fun to reread some of them.

The Sweet Valley High books were quite popular. I enjoyed the ones I read, too.

I loved a lot of the same ones as you! I loved Babysitters Club, Sweet Valley High and Nancy Drew. I ran across an old box of books the other day and it was full of these books. It was nice to sit and reminisce a little about reading those books and imagining what my life would turn into. I hope teens these days are still reading them and enjoying them like I did.

I bet we're about the same age *checksyourproile* Yup. I just turned 26 earlier this month. That's probably why we read so many of the same book series. They were all so huge when we were younger. I wish I had a box of old books to reminisce over haha. I did just find a copy of a Nancy Drew/Hardy Boys book in some of my stuff the other day and just had to re-read it.

One year for Christmas I got a set of Willow books for girls. There were like six or eight books in the set and they were so entertaining. I really liked all of them alot. I read those books like crazy. I think I read each of them like 3 times and one that was called "the Tender time" I think I read that one about five times.

I've never heard of those. It's cool you got a good set of books for Christmas; ones you could really get into.

I haven't read those, but I wasn't really into animals as a kid. I did see the Black Stallion movie, I think.

My favorites were the Dragon Riders of Pern series by Ann McCaffrey & of course Tolkiens works. I'd love to see someone make the Dragonriders into a show. It would be great.
