not sure if any of you heard lately, but michael vick might be a niner when he comes out of prison. yes he did some pretty bad things with animals, but he served his time and i'm pretty excited about him coming to the bay. i hope he does end up being a niner because we could use someone who can throw and who can run.

I'm with you all the way... I LOVE MICHAEL VICK. Even people that kill people get a second chance in this world. Hell I love dogs and yeah Vick was wrong but he is human and he is very talented. He deserves a second chance.

I had to comment even though we already know that Vick was picked up by the Eagles (I am happy to say). I am one of the most faithful Niner fans alive today but Michael Vick? Yes he is an outstanding athlete but he blew it. I don't think it's right that someone that is famous or has an athletic gift has their wrongs overlooked. I want us to win just as much as the next Niner fan but we don't need people like this on our team. It might take a little longer to find that quarter back but I for one am willing wait. I also think it is ridiculous for any team to pay an athlete that might not even be released to play, which is what should happen. Vick blew it...he's out! He is only sorry because he got caught...or he would still be in the dog biz! OhSnap!

I hope that he will get another chance to play. He is a great player. I hope he has spent his time working out, and not just throwing his hope out the window. We all know he will be the topic of all discussions when he is released in July.

I think he deserves a 2nd chance. My vick grew up in a culture where dog fighting was acceptable. What he did was wrong but he's paid his debt to society and now has a chance to redeem himself. I think that if he teams with PETA and raises animal cruelty awareness he will be heading in the right direction. Vick to the Baltimore Ravens as a RB!!!
