What is the best food from your region?

I am from Baguio and I can say that I am very proud of our strawberries. You can also try our strawberry jam and our ube jam, its simply the best.

I am from Surigao and now take up a permanent residence here in Davao because of my work. Surigao is known for crabs, shrimps, lobsters and prawns, when I was still a kid, my father cooked a super delicious crabs stuff with young coconut, the shrimps cooked in sprite and butter is a spectacular delicacy, I missed those foods because they are all quite expensive here in Davao, but everytime I took vacation, I had a chance to eat those. In Surigao we have also a rare oyster they are prominent, especially in our place, during full moon, it is a super nutritious sea food which can be eaten raw. Actually the province I came from is known to have various types of seafoods which cannot be found anywhere in the Philippines, maybe because we facing the mighty Pacific Ocean and very rich in seafoods of various kinds. Of course right now that I am living in Davao City fruits and vegetables are the familiar sights, Durian and Mangosteen are cheaper but I rarely eat them because I always saw them in fruit stand,so I am not curious anymore and my excitement is not the same as I saw an Apple tree.LOL!

i am from davao and durian is the best food that can be found here in davao. When people hear durian, they think already of davao. Some people dont like durian but it is yummy. Some people says durian is a heaven and hell fruit.

Its dinuguan, adobong pusit and kadyus baboy langka(all native filipino foods)

In our place in Dagupan, nothing beats Bangus be it sinigang,inihaw,or simple daing. Of course, bagoong here is the best.
