How often do you sweep and mop your floors?

I mop and sweep maybe once a week,

I sweep and mop my floors daily because for me it is easier to maintenance the cleaniness of your house if you do the cleaning regularly rather than only sweep or mop the floors only once or few days a week cos by that time,well the dust already accumulate and will then take longer time to finish the cleaning process.This is really tiring.

Will not tell a lie, but it gets done when it needs to be done. Actually it is my husband who does the vacuuming and not me, although sometimes I will be kind and mop the floor. The reason I don't sweep is simply because there is a high probability that the broom will fly away with me on it. At least that's my story and I am sticking to it, unless of course it suits me to change it, but so far in 36 years it hasn't. LOL The only time these things are done, whether or not they are needing it, are just before we leave for a trip away somewhere and the first day we are back. I prefer to leave the place neat, tidy and clean when we go but it still needs doing when we come back.

I sweep or vacuum usually daily and then mop the kitchen and bathroom weekly. My daughter thinks I'm a neat freak but I hate sticky floors or crumbs under my feet. When you have three children, the floors cop a lot...

not as often as im supposed to!lol! i dislike housework, i'd rather be in front of my computer all day long.

I mop about once a week, and I vacuum more often than that. I should probably do it more often though, but once is week is good for me. It seems as soon as the floor is clean someone spills something or tracks mud in the house.

I do it on weekends

I wash the floors weekly, and try to vacume daily.

My husband is Felix Unger. He vacuums the floors everyday. He mops only once a week though. When he is finished he will ask why I don't do it. I say, well, when I do, you tell me I don't do it right. You enjoy cleaning, so why should I take away your pleasure.

ME WORKING WOMEN AND I HAV KEPT A SERVANT FOR CLEANING MY HOUSE. DAILY SHE WILL CLEAN THE FLOOW WITH WATER AND PHENOIL. WHEN EVER SHE IS ON LEAVE , I USED TO DO THE SAME

I like your honesty! I feel the same way and it is so hard to have the floor as clean as I'd otherwise like it with so many other responsibilities and kids (same thing)

I used to sweep and mop twice a week when my daughter was crawling around. But now that she is a bit older, I get more busy picking up toys than sweeping and mopping. So if there is a nasty spill on the kitchen floor, it gets mopped at that time.

I vaccuum every other day, as for sweep and mop, not as much as i should, i just cant find time to do any of it anymore...

when i see its getting too bad

I sweep everyday. I mop every-other-day. And I vacuum about twice or three times a week.
