r u a kind of a person who gets up regularly early in the morning and goes to the gym or for a walk or for exercise or do u just stay back at home and think that no i wont go today, but make sure that you will go the next day but ultimately you fail to make it even the next day.what do you all think that doing exercise regularly as well as taking good food(avoiding oily and junk food) and making it a habit is really necessary for us to lead a healthy life.what happens nowadays that we have seen so many people getting obese and many people complain of getting overweight and they go on trying a lot of stuffs like they go for medicines even if diet and a lot of other things. so do you all think that a daily exercise and a good diet will help them and sort their problem?

Not as of lately since my physical therapists told me I had to be careful and take it easy with the equipment that I have. I do what he says I can do. I have to be careful as to not get my hip and pelvic back out of place. Dieting just don't work. I have found that if I eat good foods but in moderation I will lose weight. And I feel much better from eating and eating the things we should eat.

i have some exercise routine upon waking up each morning at the bedroom. the wrong thing about it is, it doesn't last for a full thirty minutes at all. i walk more than a kilometer practically, everyday. but, i do not go to the gym, nor do i wake up early each morning to do some jogging or briskwalking. as for my diet, junk foods are no-no at home. my elder son though is the one who brings home some once in a while. i always remind him of the bad effects of eating them. as for oily foods, we take some fried food about twice in a week. i believe that this is fine. for now, there is no problem plaguing the household when it pertains to obesity. our acquaintances even tell my sons and daughter to exert some effort at adding more weight. i, the mother, am the one who tends to be overweight due to some problems in health which i pulled through successfully after medication.

I know its necessary and its healthy but with freezing cold out ther in our area, I hate going out for excercises. I did it for three months regularly but then gave up as I hated leaving my two year old behind and she can not walk here too as its a hilly area with chilly winds. Now I have fallen in to the trap of postponing the walk, "next day" which never comes.

I can't exercise like others, with my arthritis and scoliosis. It hurts too badly. That makes it very difficult to keep my weight manageable and healthy. I can't ride a bike because of my knees and back, or rowing machines or just about anything. I can't walk more than a few minutes unless I have a cart to lean on, I'll probably be using a walker next year.

I am guilty I have not done justice to my body. Maybe I am too complaisance to the good health I am experiencing now. It is important to exercise everyday as food is to the body. I have always promise myself to take sometime in a day for exercises but never do it religiously. Reading your post here remind me that I have neglected this important aspect in my daily routine.

Hello ammie07! I honestly can't do a specific and regular exercise regimen on a daily basis. I make sure though that I walk or swim during the weekends. My schedule at work and the loads of tasks I need to accomplish on a daily basis won't allow me enough time for me to exercise as regularly as possible. I believe that it is good for people, overweight or not, to exercise and observe proper diet.

Dear friend, Even though I do not get up early nowdays I do do some exercise when I get up in the morning or in the evening. When ever I get time I do go to gym also but food I do usually eat what I like and I am a vegetarian. More the food I eat I just try to burn it out through exercises or games like batminton, table tennis and football mostly.

I don't really exercise daily but I do go on long walks every so often. When I was younger I used to wake up very early in the morning to go jogging. I don't to it anymore.

No. I am def. not that kind of person. I wish I had the time! I do eat healthy though so I am able to stay skinny. I'm only 14 so I really don't think I have to worry about it yet though with such a fast metabolism. Probably my best advice to you never go on diets because most of them don't work if your starving yourself. Weight Watchers work though.

No unfortunately do not. I really wish I could exercise daily. Right now I am only exercising mentally. I used to go up daily for a one hour jogging but the last year I have been doing only jogging mentally and remain lazy in bed. I know that I need to do more regular exercise.

I do not have a regualr excercise routine. I tell myself I will start one, do it for a few days, and then get thrown off when I am not able to do so due to time. I am fairly active most of the time, and when it gets warmer again, I know we will start taking daily walks and such. Being worn out from working all day makes it difficult to find the desire to work out. I think excercise and diet are important, and more so even for other people.

Sure, but is NOT on purpose. The exercise I get comes from walking. I walk up to 3 to 4 miles a week. When I'm home and not at work. I have stairs that I have to go up and down, so yeah, I have to go up and down those stairs each day. I have a great diet, that my entire household is using even our kids. We recently fasted from eating meats, sugary products and cheese from Jan. 5 to Jan. 31 with our church. Before that my eating habits were just terrible. Now they are wonderful. I have more than enough energy to do exactly what I've been wanting to do all of this time. I haven't had any coffee cravings and I'm just really enjoying this new style of eating and living. We are planning to keep up with this vegan style of eating and just incorporate some fish into our diets, but we're gonna stay away from the other meats, like pork, beef, chicken, turkey. I'm not saying that we won't ever eat those things again, but it definitely won't be necessary for us to especially when we will be maintaining this vegan style of eating. As our children get older, they'll learn how to prevent themselves from getting sickly and how the importance of eating a well balanced meal is.

I don't exercise regularly but I do body stretching once in a while but not consistent. Every time I wake up in the morning, my time is so short I have to spend it taking a bath and getting dress for my work, then I have to eat my breakfast, so it left no room for exercising. But I make it a point to do body stretching 3 times a week to keep my body healthy and in good condition, sometimes my stomach tends to bloat if I cannot body stretch in a week.

personally i think that in general an active lifestyle keeps you fairly healthy regardless of what you eat and that quite often extremely obese people are that way more because of an inner unhappiness that drives them to overeat.if your always on the go then whatever you eat can be burned off relatively easily but people who comfort eat and just lounge around due to depression will pile on the pounds.i personally say each to their own,my diet isnt the healthiest but i'm always doing something so i stay relatively healthy.
