off when they come in from being in the rain or snow? We have almost 8 inches of snow on the ground this morning. I don't normally dry my dog off. But I did wipe her paws off this morning.

Yes I would if they were wet or muddy I would have a towel or something on th porch as not to track it in the house. You probably know what a wet muddy dog can do to a house and it's contents. Not a pretty site..

I try to remember that dogs don't have shoes. Just because nature didn't provide them with shoes doesn't mean the pads on their feet are a suitable replacement. Sometimes, I let my dog be out in the cold longer than I should. Recently, I have set up a space heater for her to warm up with when she comes in.

If it is extrememly wet and dirty outside we do wipe our dogs off, so that they do not drag water and mud into our house. They like to jump on the furniture and us, so we towel them off to help eliminate the damage.

Only if they are muddy. Otherwise no, I do not wipe them or their paws off when I let them in from the rain or the snow.

wiping off paws is always a good idea. If it is winter and your animal has snow or rain in cold weather be sure to remove most of the dampness so the animals can warm quicker!!

I usually wipe my puppy when he comes in from the rain, otherwise he will get smelly and make the house wet. I will let him stand and lie down on the towel when he comes in from the snow.

When it is raining and we let the dogs out to do their business we always dry them off when they come back in. Especially their paws because they will track in mud otherwise.

I try to let them dry off on there own instead of drying them off myself - I just leave them in the garage for about 5 min and they handle up on their on

If my pup comes in from the rain or the snow I will wipe him down with a towel. Its been awhile since we did this because hes scared to go out in the rain.
