Have you ever been bullied at work?

For some, the daily "chore" of having to go into work to earn a living is a nightmare due to constant bullying by their boss or workmates. This may include being made to do trivial tasks, being shouted at, the butt of jokes and many other reasons including withholding promotion. This can make getting up in the morning to go to work unbearable and disrupt family life too.Have you ever been bullied? I was when i used to work as CA firm. My boss used to shout a lot and also they didn't raised my salary. I hated being there.I was so happy when i left it but now i don't want to go back to offline work but will have to.

Bullying exists from school to the old folks home and should be tackled at the first sign. COmpanies have a responsibility to have a policy in place which allows employees to complain about the behaviour of others. It is a brave step to complain and I recommend that before doing so you should write a journal of events where possible with dates, times and details. Gather witnesses where possible and keep copies of memos and emails that are inappropriate. If the person bullying is investigated then you will have good evidence. Bullies get found out in the end so don't be afraid to blow the whistle on them.

Sometimes though it just makes it worse to finally say something. You fight back and then they pick on you even more. I have learned (sort of) to just keep my mouth shut and realize I work with a bunch of morons. At least I know I won't work there forever, while some of those people are lifers.

My coworkers love to make fun of my glasses. As far as withholding promotions though, no one is getting a promotion so I think that's fairly equal.
I do wish that I didn't have to wear glasses, but unfortunately I'm kind of stuck because the eye doctor says I can't get contacts yet since they're still under development.

sometimes my boss likes to ask me to do trivial tasks too and there are times when he just dumps difficult tasks on me, things that he doesn't want to do and also asks me to do other people's job and i don't even get credit for that. he also treats me as if i'm his secretary or personal assistant. i hate it when he does that

Yes i have been bullied at work
.During working days i was put under physical pressure.On saturday i had brainstorming sessions.I was put under mental pressure.I was also told once i won't get my salary.I was also told i will be removed from work and someone else would join my place.
