The biggest merit is being kind to people. It is hardly possible to love everyone, but you can show our kindness to everyone. Do not intend to leave an impact on others, rather let others willing to leave an impact on you. Hold optimistic attitude, only with optimism can you attract others, while pessimism tend to push people away. Make endeavor to listen to others, a very good way to impress others. Politeness is a wise way to resolve issues, which otherwise may not be that effective. Smile is costless, but will bring about good profit, as it makes people comfortable and pleased. How you treat others will be treated by others the same way.

Pretty good advice you give there zhuhuifen. I think the smile part is really important. I noticed that a lot in my lifetime, and especially right now in my neighborhood. I think a smile is contagious. I also believe "Perception is Reality". I try to keep this in mind whenever I am around anyone. Because however they perceive you, is their reality of you. You can't change what someone thinks. If you do something and don't realize it, you can never get that back. So we must try to be cautious in all of our moves and try to treat others as we would like to be treated ourselves.

Hi zhuhuifen, I couldn't agree more, everything you've said here makes so much sense. I've been saying much the same thing for years and it's great that other people think the same way. Always treat others the way that you would want to be treated even if they don't respond to you in the same way, others will notice. When others need a shoulder to cry on, be there for them and let them do the talking. Thanks for this my friend. Blessings.

Honestly, i really dont know what being kind means to me! I dont find myself as a kind person but dont get me wrong, im not sarcastic! I treat people nicely and help them as much as i can but not to all people. I still have my manners in communicating to other people but the word kind is too much for me to define. Whatever it is, as long as i do right and avoid the wrong things, i know that would be kindness.

Sometimes, even the smallest and slightest deeds are very much appreciated. So whatever we're doing or wherever we are.. it's best to always RESPECT people. No matter what race they're from or how young/old they are. A Smile or a hug is also one of the best ways to show your love to people even if you don't know them. Be as polite and HUMBLE as always, and stay away from arguments. It would just lead you nowhere. Always have an open-mind.. people have different point of views.

I am in agreement with what you are saying here. I do not think it is important for all of those around me to agree with my way of thinking. And the best way for me to achieve that is to tell them that while I may not agree with all they think I do value them as people. To be the one to reach out in friendship and acceptance is very important to me.
