28th jan 2009. india vs srilanka 1st onedayer. the series in srilanka has a lot to offer as the most entertaining two teams of world cricket is facing each other. the 1st onedayer was a tactical one and india won by 6 wickets . in a very much well organised manner india registered a convincing victory by defeating their opponents in every department of the game..well done boys.

Yes, India had a comprehensive win . India did well to restrict Sri lanka to 246 despite Jayasuriya's century . Then , Gautam Gambhir , Dhoni , Suresh Raina and Yuvraj SIngh played important part in scripting Indian win . Ishant Sharma took 3 vital wickets .
