It is a red hot competition going on now. SA have won the series against Aus. If they win the 5th ODI then they stand to be No.1 (as on that date). But Aus can become 1st again by beating NZ in their next series. Similarly India can get close to the first spot by winning against SL 5-0. Then they also have the NZ series to follow later. A good series win could help them become first or second. The one who stands No.1 in ICC ODI ranking (as on April 1, 2009) will get $175,000 and 2nd will get $75000. So what’s your prediction? Whom do you vote?

I will vote for team India. India is the best of all the teams. Already SA moved to No.1 after winning against Australia. Even if Australia beats NZ India is having continuous matches. If India wins all the matches it will be in No.1 position. I'm sure that India will win any one of the prize. It is tough but it is possible to get the No.1 for India. Now the leading challengers in ICC are SA and India. The domination of Aussies came to an end.

I think, both India has a good chance of being among the first two, seeing the current form of indian cricket team they beat England, won a series against Australia and also won the first match of Srilanka tour. So they have a fair chance. But as it is cricket we can not say anything. anyways I think Australia will continue to be number one if not at least they will stand second.
