As most of you might know I have fell behind on my responding to my friends discussions. Well, today I have been sitting here trying to catch up on most of them (don't think I'm doing so bad! ) Anyways I just came across about ten in a row that have already been deleted!! Some of them were really obvious why they were deleted, but some of them......I just wouldn't have guessed they would have been. I know why this can happen, but did they make changes to some of the rules or are they still the same. I guess it is just frustrating to see SO MANY being deleted! Especially if there is no reason they should have been.

I am not in the crowd either, Thank goodness! But I sure feel sorry for all those that are having problems with it lately. I just hope it doesn't affect what happens in the future here on mylot. Such as lose of members and things like that. I really like this site and would hate to see it go bad!

I am not aware if there is any change in rules and regulations to be followed. It feels bad to see that some discussions are 'deleted'. One of my discussions, also got deleted for voilation of rules. This was the first time ever that any of my discussions was removed, it has never happended with me and I was confused as to what sort of rules did I voilate.

I think if they are going to delete a discussion that you started they should at least send you an email to tell you why and what rule or guidline you violated. It would only be fair.

I noticed this, too, and thought it might have been the user deleting them. It never crossed my mind that "the powers that be" would be deleting them. I guess I need to catch up on the terms of service over here! LOL

If they have been done before by someone else. That's why a lot of them get deleted, I think. Somewhere, somehow, there was another discussion done on them. I try to check before I start one, but I only go so many pages back looking. I wish I knew how to find an easier way to look!

Ya especially if pages and pages show up when you do a search! I think maybe if it has been over so much time it shouldn't matter if one was already started. Like if it has been longer than three months since a similiar discussion has been started then you should still be able to post yours.
