I brought Christmas chocolate on sale after the holiday, now I'm running out. I'm going to have to ration it until Valentines day. I know I'll have to hide what is left from my husband, any suggestions where? Have fun with this.

i got quite a bit for christmas and i have put most of it in the freezer and have been eating bits at a time. i like that commercial where she hides her candy in the light fixture! (although chocolate may melt that way!)

That would work if i could find one that we never turn on, of course i'd have to chase the spiders out first. Ha

Hey pat! Wow! You still have Christmas chocolate left! That is amazing! I guess you had really better stock up for Valentines Day since the next chocolate holiday won't be until Easter! I can't keep chocolate in my house for a minute! I buy it one day and it's gone the next! And I'm the only one that eats it!

Well I keep it where you have to move boxes to open the door, remove cans to reach it way in the back of the shelf and then put them back, close the door and put the boxes back to open the next door to get out of the back porch, which is not heated. Point of this being of course the harder it is to get to the more you're going to wait when the craving starts. Ha

Hide it in the household cleaning supply cupboard, behind the vacuum cleaner bags, in your feminine hygiene supply(kotex)box, In your shoe box in the clothes closet, if you have a hat box that also is a wonderful place to hide chocolate! Also put the left overs in a plastic bag and stash it in the dirty laundry basket...all the places that husbands don't go into because it "isn't their job". When I run out of chocolate, I make a batch of fudge...I have a wonderful recipe that is only two ingredients...semi sweet chocolate bits and sweetened condensed milk. You heat it on top of a double boiler and it makes wonderful fudge! YUM!!!

Well if you don't mind freezing it you can put it in the freezer behind some frozen veggies. How about in your drawer where you keep maxi/tampons? Other ideas: underwear drawer, in a box under your bed with women's magazines, in your car, or if you have a desk in one of the drawers. That's all I can think of for now.

I immediately thought of the airing cupboard, where he probably never goes. But I soon realised it would all melt, so that's no good. I guess it would have to be in one of the drawers holding your woollies or other clothes, probably not the lingerie drawer though. I've just run out of the Christmas butter shortbread. Might have a chance of losing that tummy now.
