As it was not well described in your discussion. Thanks tas4me, for your added comment and a good chance for me to elaborate further about your problem about to reduce spectacles power. This is some knowledge for you before seek any optometrist.
My suggestion as an option to you, there are;
1. Gas permeable lenses tend to stabilize your prescription and will slow down the changes.
2. There are also contact lenses that you wear at night while you sleep that reshape your cornea.
