what do you think of posting photos on public socialize pages for example on facebook, friendsters, zorpia and so on? are you comfortable with that? do you tend to set your homepage private or give limited information access to your friends on the sites? for me, i think i am more of a private person. i am not so active on those sites. and rarely do i post photos on there or elsewhere. what about you?

I post photos on my own website, which is visible to the rest of the world, and also on a couple of parenting websites. Other than that, and a couple here on mylot, I don't post them any where else. I am very careful about the photos I use and make sure I have permission from the people in the photos before i post them.

It's totally alright for me. In fact I posted a lot of photos via the net. I don't think it's a very private thing. It's OK for others to know who I am and how I look like. I love China

Only my friends and family have access to my photos on facebook and bebo. I always set my page to private and allow friends and family to view my page. Until they become a friend, they can't see my profile.

Hi lovesummer. Yes it is. Im comfortable posting pictures public socialize sites like friendster, multiply and facebook that I am a member of. But i set my profile private which means that only my friends are the one who can view my full profile and all my pictures. I like to browse my family and friends pictures to the sites I mentioned, since its one of the ways for me to keep updated of their lives.

I am into facebook a lot. Almost updating my status everyday and I do post photos up there as well and it's fun when friends comment on them. But I have set my setting to only friends. So only those I accept and add as friend can view my profile, photos and details. I think it's better.

I never post any picture on anywhere on net. I dont think it is appropriate to put ur and ur loved ones on net. And though i have seen girls putting their pics on net i dont approve it ans these days more and more people are going to misuse their pics when ever they can get hold off and too many cases registered in India on misuse of girls pics taken from orkut.

I haven't posted any on facebook. I wasn't sure how to keep everyone from seeing them. I have tons of pictures on myspace but they are all set to private. The only people that can see my pictures are the people on my friends list. And I know everyone that is on my friends list so I don't have to worry about who is seeing my pictures. I like putting them on there so all my friends and family that live far away can see them.

I don't have the skill of posting photos down very well, they often come out upside down or sideways, anyway I don't do it much.

I never used to be comfortable at all with posting pictures of myself. But I have eased up a little bit now. On facebook, my settings are such that only my friends can see my pictures - thats the way I prefer it. I don't feel comfortable with the though that people who I don't know may be looking at my pictures. Or that people I would want to look at my pictures might be doing so. It's nice that sites like facebook have privacy options otherwise I cannot imagine putting pictures of myself up.

I have lots and lots of photos on facebook, its a very handy way to share pictures with my friends and family, as i only let my friends and family access them i feel fine about uploading them on there. The only other picture that everyone can see is my profile picture which is just a snapshot of me on a weekend break in Bruge.
