I didn't get to go online on from the 31st of Dec 08 till 3rd Jan 09 at all because was away for training and there was no internet access. I am not so worried about not getting to myLot or check my facebook account. I am more concern about my online selling account because I sell online. So there's a need to to check if there is any buyer or any buyer is asking some questions. Nah....I wouldn't be bored if I am at home and can't get to online (if there is no electric). I would read a storybook, organize stuff in my home...maybe go wash the car or motorbike, complete my training notes.Plenty of stuff to do...

I have a lot to do if I cannot come online. Actually I should be indulged in online job for fear of deteriating sight, and lack of sufficient exercises. Life is multiple, outdoor activities are also fun. Reading, knitting are also my hobbies. We need to better plan our time so we get balanced physically and mentally to stand a longer healthy and happy life.

Sorry, i miss read your lines. My response should read as follows. I cannot stand permanent failure, though temporary failure might be a good thing for me, as I should not be indulged in online job....

If it is happen, then I will waste my money to connect with my friends and my family especially if go abroad. It's little bit different if I'm not abroad, I almost forget to be online to check my emails and so on because I have so much fun in my country, like gather with my friends, go shopping with my sister, eat at our favorite restaurant, and so on.

I think when we become too dependent on something, we tend to freak out when there's a problem with it. It's the same thing with the internet. Most of us treat it as an everyday need because we're so much attached to it. If that happens to me(I hope not!), I'd find alternative tasks that would not waste my time. I think I'll go to the nearest internet cafe if there's really a need to log in online. If not, I'll just go out and buy some groceries, clean the whole house, wash my clothes, cook food, etc. After doing these things, I'd definitely go to bed!

I use the internet a lot, for work and play. Last summer we went camping and I actually found it quite a relief to unplug. With everything I do centred around keeping things up to date online and catching up with the latest TV shows, spending a week just reading and walking and listening to the radio was a nice break. I was, of course, straight back into my gadget filled routine as soon as I got back home :)

It will be so boring if I can't be online. As I need to be online so that I can post here, email, communicate with my friends, upload photos, download etc. I love China

It's really true that so many of us are so dependent on the internet. I guess it's ok if I can't go online as like you said you can always watch a movie? HahaThere's always so many other things that we can do.

It happens to me whenever I go back to my hometown. The internet is very difficult to be found out. In terms of basic needs, this is not a big deal. However, when it come to contacting friends, it becomes too costly to me because I have no choice other than using my pre-paid mobile phone-card :(. I am really happy with the advancement of technology, the internet connection is getting cheaper and cheaper with high data rate as well. Hopefully, someday I will have my private connection in my hometown.

There are really days I can not go online. Because of so many things to do. But it is okay. Internet is not my life alone. I still have my family, business and so many things to attend to. But I ma thankful to internet because it gives me a lot of options to make my work easier.

Should there'll be a schedule for me an activity at the real estate or client to be tripped, I really missed my pc, even though I came home late, I would surely see my emails and read comments from friends. I would find a time even at the wee hours of the morning I'll wake up just to be at the internet. If really can't come online maybe I'll be busy outside the house visiting friends or working in sales, joining sales activities such as manning. leafletting and saturations. Can visit churches as well.

I'll be starting my first day at the new clinic on monday, and I'm using all my time left here because I know the next day would be a busy day for me and I don't have much time anymore after work. I would feel a bit sad but that's life, I have to work and manage my time properly, so that I could come here again online even for just a few hours.

Life's gonna be a real boring to be sure but I have my mountainbiking adventure. That wil compensate something. In this era of globalisation, internet is number one source of information. People can do many things like getting income, information that we are looking for and exchanging information and last but not lease, getting more and more friends around the globe.
