Who will it be on the next finals? I was so excited when Ive checked nba standings where cavaliers posted as the number 1 team in the East. But then I guess celtics will be be a great opponent for the eastern finals. I hope that this Cleveland team will go to the finals once again and face L.A. Lakers.

it is true that these two teams are the top contenders for a slot in the nba finals from the eastern conference. but do not forget the surging orlando magic that is playing very well these days. and do not discount the regular contender in the detroit pistons. with iverson in the line up, the pistons are still dangerous and formidable team in the east. but the celtics and cavaliers willalways be the favorites to adavnce to the finals. we'll see.

Yes I do love watching these 8 teams right now in the east competing to be higher their rankings. But I go really for Cleveland to deemed their last finals with the spurs winning only nothing.

I would have to go with Boston. Not only are they the better team, But I highly doubt that the Cavs would be able to beat them four times, in a seven game series. But as a Lakers fan, and an even bigger Kobe Bryant fan, I would love to see a Lakers v. Cavs NBA Finals match up. Not only would Kobe v. LeBron be a huge payday for Mr. David Stern and all of his NBA staff; but Kobe could finally put an end to all of this "Whose better Kobe or LeBron" talk. So when it comes time for the Eastern Conference Finals, I'll be hoping that Ray Allen, KG, and Paul Peirce get locked in their hotel rooms for the entire series.
