I have had an headache and earache on and off for a few weeks. I also have a clogged nose that comes and goes with cough. My Doctor prescribed antibiotics but I do not have a fever. Do you think I really have a bacterial infection even if I don't have a fever. I would hate to take antibiotics unnecessarly.

Did your Doctor take a swab to test for bacteria? You can always have a low count infection that doesn't cause a fever. Did he rule out allergies, that's what I have and it cause similar symptoms. Maybe you need to ask more questions if you are not satisfied with the answer you got.
