I got a text from my mom lastnight that my cousin won his first UFC fight. She didn't know any other details yet but I'll fill you all in as I get the information. I was so scared about him doing this (as some of you know from my last UFC discussion) but I think I feel a bit better now. I wish I knew more about when and where he's fighting though. I think my mom doesn't get the info because she's scared of getting bad news. I understand that but I want more info. Does anyone know how farin advance the fights are taped before they are televised?

Are you going to get to congratulate him? Anybody who wins in that arena of sport must have a lot of nerve. And maybe a bit crazy? LOL I don't mean that literally. Is he married? Because if I were his wife I would be a nervous wreck. I'd probably have to fight the urge to get in the arena and jump on the back of his opponent.

No, I won't get to because I don't even know where he is fighting. I know he's traveling a lot for it. He has a big ego and he's an awesome martial artist. Yes, he is married. She's supporting him 100%. She has no issues with it. She's not traveling with him.

I'm very proud of him but it is scary. I hate to think of him getting hurt but it is his dream. When you hear back from your friend please let me know. Thanks and good luck to your friend.

Thats great that he won his fight. I think that is a tough call as far as feeling okay about a loved one doing this. My husband and I watch some fights, but I just dont like seeing people intentionally beating on one another. But I guess if thats what sport he is into then thats just that. And I wish him the best in all his fights. But as far as finding out info on broadcast I have no idea.

I don't like to watch it either. I don't even like that he's doing it. I'm just proud of him for following his dream. All I can do is hope for the best for him. Thanks.
