Did you wear school uniforms?

When I was studying, we have to wear school uniform. I used to bicker why we have to do that. Now, however, I see that it was easier that way. I did not have to worry about keeping up with the fashion because whatever the fashion is, we still have the same dress on. So less hassle. LOL

Yeah, seeing our school uniforms brings back the memories of school. It may be sad or happy but still we cherish it because it had been a part of our life.

Hi! I wore uniforms from kindergarten to high school. When I was in high school, I hated wearing uniforms. Now, I understand my students when they tell me how they hate to be in their uniforms, and could not wait for their occasional "dress down" days. Now that I think about it, I think it is more convenient to have uniforms because as you said, there is no need to worry about what to wear next, and the fashion trend. The person wearing the uniform can still find ways to be identified for the way the uniform is being carried, like wearing uniforms neatly and it being well pressed. Happy myLotting!

You could be fashionable in different ways. I think we become more creative with fashion if we have uniforms. It makes us work with what we have without going against the school policies.

Yes, I wore uniform from kindergarten to college. And I agree with you that having uniforms in school and even at work is easier because you need not worry about being in or out of fashion. And you need not think about what to wear each and every work/school day.

Not worrying about what to wear each day is one thing out of our minds. That helps especially if you wake up late and have to rush in the morning.

Dear friend, When I was kindergarten to school I had to wear uniform. Only civil dress or other dress was allowed when the student has a birthday and in other special days as announced by the school. Moreover fine and strict punishments were also implemented for those who did not wear any clean and neat uniforms. I hope it as a part of our school identity and discipline.

School uniform could be part of the students' identity and all that. It all depends on how the students view their uniform. Is it just another piece of clothing or is it something that identifies who they in the society they move in?

From kindergarten to third grade, I had to wear a uniform because I went to private school. After that, I did not. I used to be pro uniforms, I always liked wearing them to school. Anyway, I've done subing and classroom oberservations in public school. Some now have uniforms, but the majority doesn't. Uniforms don't seem to change anything imo, There have to be other factors in place already for them to be useful.

You're right. Behavior wouldn't change just because students are wearing their uniform. There has to be something more than that.

I went to public school where I could where whatever, then I went to a crazy baptist school where I had to wear this crazy plaid skirt to my ankles and a polo, then I went to a normal Christian school where I just had to wear like khakis or black bottoms with a plain navy blue, white, or black shirt. The best was at the Christian school because I didn't have to try that hard but could still put my own style on it.

Yes, I do wear a school uniform from kindergarten and up until now. Mind you, I'm on college already. I think you're right with that, it's hard to keep up sometimes with the fashion if you keep wearing any dress or clothes. And yeah, less hassle. :)

Yup I wear uniforms if I am in school but every wednesday, we can wear anything except sexy clothes and slippers. Wednesday is our washday in school. It always saves you time to wear uniform cause you dont have to worry how many clothes you are going to wash at the end of the week. Saves alot of money also cause less bills to pay cause you could just dump all you uniform at a single wash in the washing machine. Hehehe...
