So, because we have no life, and there is nothing on TV, we ended up watching two dumb movies on the movie channels tonight... "Meet the Spartans" and "Semi Pro". I hate to admit it - we laughed. Not to the point of crying or falling out on the floor or anything, but we did laugh. I don't think that means we'll add them to our DVD library though. So, what's the last dumb movie that you watched and are embarrssed to admit you enjoyed a little?

I saw both of those movies. Some of it was funny especially semi pro. I like all the movies with Will Ferral in it. They are so funny when you watch them. You should watch step brothers. Its so funny you would burst if you saw it. I want it to be in my Dvd collection if I ever get the chance to buy it. I saw it with some of my friends and they thought it was best movie ever, that was hilarious.

We'll probably watch it when it gets released to the movie channels - we're cheap, LOL.

I avoid the overtly stupid movies but some of the comedy movies I do enjoy are kind of low on the intelligence scale. I love the Mel Brooks movies and the Monty Python movies. The Police Academy series is a lot of fun too and they're pretty silly. The thing about being embarrassed to admit that I like something is that my friends LOVE the "Frat Pack" movies (Will Farrell, Vince Vaughn, Owen and Luke Wilson, Ben Stiller, Jack Black, Steve Carrell) so I'm almost more embarrassed to say I don't like them. I like Vince Vaughn and Jack Black, and the older Ben Stiller stuff (Reality Bites, If Lucy Fell, pre-Something About Mary kinds of stuff) but I could never see the rest of them and it wouldn't hurt my feelings even a little bit.
