Do you think that Kadambi-Sri Lankan bastman blundered?

During the second ODI, I was watching the match and I was surprised the way Murli sacrificed his wicked- rather I was surprised at the way the other bastman (Kadambi) who was very well set and hitting the ball very well, ran for the run on the last ball of the over. Although the catch was dropped and it was last ball of the over, he would be getting the strike if he had not gone for that run. That would have given him full over to score which a new bastman could not do. Do you think that it was a big mistake which cost Sri Lanka the second ODI?

i dont think it's a blinder. See the situation. Both Batsmen are chasing runs racing against the time. In such a situation any body can commit a mistake. It's easy to say than done.

So, agree that it was a mistake of Kadambi. I do not deny that it was quite natural for the bastmen to go for that run but that did cost them very dear.

Blunder is a too strong word to use here....Then,what would you say about the run outs of Dilshan in 1st ODI,Yusuf and Sehwag's run outs in 2nd ODI?They had also just thrown away the wickets at the crucial times. You can't blame them.Mistakes do happen. Also,do you remember Murali's hittings against Bangladesh? He was the only reason that SL did not lose to Bangladesh.Kadambi was also very much tired having faced for a long time. So,he must have thought of giving Murali the strike for the big hits. But sadly for him,it didn't work out.

yes kadambi blundered during the second ODI as what for he was taking the single on that last ball which muralitharn got run out for him.Apart from playing good innings it became waste.mistakes should not happen like that as the two players have to discuss for that ball and kadambi has to inform the other batsman about his plans.

Not sure what it really is. Maybe due to inexperience of kandamby that happened r he didn't know it was the last ball of the over. Muralitharan shouted for him to stop at the time he saw he him but it was too late so he ran himself out.
