Why we worship god not our Parents and teachers?

hello yogeshkapoor.. yeah I do agree with you that we have to respect our parents.. since that is one of the 10 commandments... and as well as our teachers since they also stand as our 2nd parents... but to worship them is a different story.. worshipping and respecting is a different story.. Worshipping God is our obligation as a Christian and as a human.. we may not be able to see Him personally but we can feel his presence.. if you only believe and trust in Him He will always be on your side... God's Love to us is much greater if you will compare it to the love that our teacher and parents give us.. Everything you have is God's gift to you.. the air you breath, the Earth which we live in and more.. are from God.. do you think your parents can Give you air to breath... ? We are born to worship God and to RESPECT our parents not to worship them.........

I think it is perfectly alright to do what you are suggesting if this is what you want but I don't think there would be too many who would do it along with you, least of all your parents. Cheers!!
