Another Party This Time its Fancy Dress... .... ...

My hubby and I have been invited to another party, wow I am going to be a social butterfly this year!! It is a casino night, it won't be playing for money as the pub does not have a licence but there will be big prizes instead. It is a themed night too and so fancy dress is required and it is quite exciting because it is 1920s!!
So all weekend I have been on ebay shopping for fancy dress costumes and what a great selection there is for 1920s and the dresses are great!! To buy costumes for me, hubby and Mum in law has cost me a fraction of what it would cost to buy in the shops and all brand new too it is going to be so exciting. I have never ever been to a fancy dress party before! I have had great fun shopping for it all this weekend!!

Hey that sounds great! You are becoming a social butterfly, aren't you so lucky? I'm jealous, but that's okay, because even if I were invited to a party, I'd probably have to say no because I don't have a sitter. Well, maybe in a few years.
I've never been to a fancy dress party, but would eventually love to go. Hope you have loads of fun!

I am lucky, but once my son goes in the RAF in April I will be a little more stuck unless I can con my hubbys nieces to sit for me!!

I've only got a few more years until my oldest is old enough to babysit. I have left him with the kids once or twice already, but never for very long, and normally they're all sleeping when I do it. Like once I had to run down the street to the store for something, but all the kids except him were already in bed, so I just left him in charge.
I hope when he gets to an age old enough to babysit for awhile, that I'll be able to trust him enough to do it.

Well it is not til March, but buying the stuff now while I got the money lol!! But I will be taking my camera so will put some pics on.

I have never been to a fancy dress party, I never had the money to buy the costume and I don't know how to sew but this is really great for you, you really are the social butterfly
