Does anyone find Perfume to be offensive?

I am allergic to perfume and when someone has it poured on heavy it makes me really sick. I find it more offensive then any other odor. I will have to push past a crowd of people just to get away from the offender. Sorry but some people just put to much on.

You are so right moneymommy... some people wear wayyyy too much, for my taste anyway. The real reason I'm responding to your post is because I saw your schnauzer!!!! I have one too. His name is Sunshine & he will be 6 years old this week. How about yours... boy or girl? Love the photo!

Our schnauzer is named Smokey and hes going to be 5 years old in April. I love Schnauzers I think they are one of the best dog breeds. Well anyways the perfume thing is just obnoxious sometimes. I cant get over that some people think it smells good to put the whole bottle on.

hello moneymommy! actually i guess even if i don't have an allergy to perfumes, when i smell someone using too much of it i will definitely sneeze and get some pain on my nose! haha i just don't get it, why some people use perfumes as if its water for bath! well, well what i do when i am near a person with this too strong perfume, i just get away also or cover my nose...sometimes...hehe to avoid sneezing! good day!

I don't mind catching a subtle little whiff of someone's perfume if we are in close proximity but I hate it when people smell as if they're taken a perfume bath. If someone walks into a room and you can smell their perfume all the way across then that is waaay too much. I also find it very unprofessional when people in customer service positions wear too much perfume.
