Mylot Participation

Have you ever noticed that your earning on mylot is listed as "participation," This to me seems a little of misleading. The other day I spent over an hour going through old discussions, rating the good ones, and making them to be resolved. That was all I did on mylot that day. The next day I logged on and saw that I was paid nothing for the day before. I didn't mind this discovery, but I think they should call the payments posts/pics instead of participation... what do you think?

Whatever they want to call it, it's up to them.
Plus, it's already been said that you don't really earn for resolving issues or for rating people. But earning is primarily on posts. But they say that the rating could affect earnings a little.
It used to be posts you know. But I guess they had some issues with it with their taxes or something that's why they used participation instead.

Interesting... I wonder what kind of tax issue it causes. I really didn't mind not getting a payment, I just thought it was interesting, and perhaps helpful to the newbies... I think its just inspiration to resolve your discussions in a timely matter, otherwise you could spend a lot of time going through old discussions, while you could be "participating."

They used to have a separate category for pictures, and they didn't call it participation. But then they grouped both categories together, counting everything in one section, and then named it participation. Since we don't get paid for ratings or best responses, they probably don't even consider it participation. Although it is.

friend, i know that this will quite confusing abot earning information an make the all thing as a participation.
friend, sometimes i have work hard over the website and create more post and discussions.but when , i check my earning. i will get very less mnoey of that makes me surprised.

I think they should break it down by what you did that day. Last thursday I know I was active on mylot but I got paid nothing, zero, zilch, nada, zip........I KNOW I was active. I always get on the lot everyday no matter what(except when I spent 24 hours in the bathroom with the flu). I think it's VERY misleading. I participated and got nothing for it.

Yes it would be nice if they broke it down, perhaps they are afraid if they tell us exactly how the pay worked we would only do the things that pay the most. I don't know? I hope you are over the flu... that sounds like the pits. Thanks for posting and happy mylotting.
