I think Current in that sentence means you are updated..Read as; Please figure out what we paid. I thought we were updated. I think they were trying to say that.

I agree with others who have already told you, current = up-to-date.

Current usually means up to date. What is on the statement now is what is current.

Hi youless! I do understand the first sentence too but I do not have a clue on what the second sentence means. I really can't find any idea what that sentence is trying to convey. I just can't figure out what "current" means in that sentence and I am looking for a word that may sound similar to that thinking that it was just mispelled or something like that. But I really can't seem to get it. Sorry! Take care and have a great day! lovelots..faith

I do agree with some of your posters that it meant updated or present. I was looking for other meanings though.

By current, they meant "up to date". Current means recently or up to date.

youless, It should be taken as the account being up to date without any outstanding from the other party. You may want to have a check on your latest statement of account to verify this. Cheers.

You probably recieved the answer already but here goes. It's something said here in the U.S.A. The meaning is simple, by saying current they mean paid up to date on something. That's why they asked to figure out what they have already paid, so it can be figured how much they may be behind in their payments or not. Hope that helped my dear...Mamablaze!!

All question has been answered, in my opinion "current" mean now and " Please figure out what we paid" mean your pay already updates, so it mean "now your pay already updates"
