What is your favorite instant messenger? I like AIM mostly because all my friends use it. Its got some nice features and its really easy to use. Though it does lack some things in it.

I like to use Aim. Aim is my favorite because I have been using it since I started going online. I tried others but I prefer Aim over all others.

Would I be cheating if I said Pidgin? Because it mixes all instant messengers like AIM, MSN, Yahoo, and others. If I am cheating...I'd say AIM.

pidgin is awesome, I run it without interface though. it's very convenient to have all protocols in one light weight program :) instead of running like.. msn.. yim.. AND AIM. oh god, I remember those day, such a memory hogger in my good ol' P4 ^_^

I really like YM. I guess, mainly because it's the one most of my business partners use, so I keep in contact with them through it. And it has a TON of smileys already on it. It tells me whenever I get emails, too. I tried Pidgin, and it was nice for combining all my buddy lists, but I had so many technical problems with it.

Favourite protocol = MSN Live Messenger, 100% of my friends got it. As for program I prefer pidgin, since IF any of my friends would not have it, at least it is a multi-protocol client so I do not need to use many different programs.
