Every person who has watched the movie Forrest Gump must be familiar with the sentence "life is a box of chocolate, you never know..."
The more times i think of it, the better I understand it. That's quite true. the truth of life lies in those simple facts. What is coming in the next few hours , no one knows, but it is mixed with all tastes and it is those tasts that enrich a full life. Without tasting the bitterness, one can never cherish the sweetness of life. So whenever we are confronted with bad luck, misfortune, think about this, take the life as it is.

well said, yes it is very true, and I guess that is what makes life interesting, there is always something new to look forward to and it is the bitter experiences that make us appreciate the sweet ones.

that is true... it's something you have to learn though... i think anyway...but i also think its kind of a never ending thing that you learn.
I'm learning it every day... but with the things i'm not liking or wanting. it's making take in the moments that i am wanting more i think. sure makes the craving for them stronger anyway.

I've always liked this saying ever since I saw the movie. It's one of those life truths, and a clever play on words. Just like chocolate, life can be sweet, and you never know the shape or flavor of things until you bite into it. It's one of those phrases that really makes you think and appreciate each day for how it's different.
