How Many People Out There Use The Internet In The Local Coffee Shops?

I've only done wi-fi at a hotel, never a coffee shop.

I love going to the coffee shop down the road I have a wifi laptop and I live about 11 miles from the nearest "big" city and there is a wonderful coffee shop down the road and they play soft jazz and they have nice lighting they make the BEST coffee ever plus they sell wonderful food. Sometimes they hand out free samples they are wonderful whats funny is the town is known to be a hick town lol so it's funny to have such a classy place in a town like I live in.

There is not a local coffee shop in my area. I don't have a lap top computer but I'm looking at those mini lap top. I might purchase one soon.

I don't have a laptop yet ,but I think that is a great idea to take your laptop to your favorite cafe in town.

I think taking laptops to coffe shop is not a good idea. YOu can surf internet better in home environment having good privacy and relaxation. I have never done this and i think i would not do it unless i dont have internet at home and i want to use it.

hi danish...i have a laptop and a desktop..and we have internet connection in our home..no need to go to coffe shoppes ...its a wi fi actually and the laptop is a kind of prepaid internet connection where i or my daughter can surf or browse even outside the home...

I would love to do that. However, I have my own internet connection at home so I don't need to spend money to avail a connection in a cafe. Next, I can't stay late outside because I am still a student and my parents would be too strict to allow me to be outside with my laptop and spending money. PS. Coffee are expensive. :P

I have not done it, but I had a friend I chatted with often who used the wi-fi there. It seemed to be a quiet, calm environment, and they even had more privacy then I would of expected. They seemed to never have connection problems there either.

Hello Danish/Canadian, I know what you mean. My fav. is Starbucks in the morning. I don't have a laptop, but instead I take a book or a newspaper with me. Usually I alternate between Second Cup and Starbucks. . .spread myself around. Not too crazy about Tim's. . . always tempted to eat one of their yummy donuts if I go there. Having time for yourself over a cuppa is the best therapy there is.

i naver use the internet in the coffee shops because in my city there is no coffee shop who give the facility of internet also. but if i use my own laptop with wireless net then it ok. but i negver go to coffee shop with my laptop.

mever went to a local with my notebook feels kind of strange because i am not a bussines person and also i don't have internet conection on a pub maybe if i was written an article or a book i would took with with me

I've gone a couple times to this place called The Mezzanine by one of my friend's houses. It's cute and a lot of the students go there. Of course there's always the on campus coffee shops too.

I don't have a laptop and the joys of surfing in the coffee shop is one that is denied me. Cheers!!

Honestly, I'd rather stay in the comfort of my home Plus I don't drink coffee so I don't find the need going to the coffee shops / cafes. Too lazy to go out, haha

i like my privacy too much.. i would feel like people were looking at my screen all the time and it would be too much distraction around
